I’m used to crying. Sad crying when baby spends the night at the car repair shop, dessert is canceled, the picture is ruined.
I’m used to crying. Just not the broken-hearted, my-best-friend’s-moving kind.
Oh no!! I am so sorry!! I want to cry for her…the broken-hearted, her-best-friend’s-moving kind!!!

Oh wow, that’s rough. Especially when you feel you have no control over that. Really liked the repetition of this piece to drive home the point.

I like how you brainstormed many different kinds of situations that we cry about. Then the repetition and then the twist at the end….a new situation and the reader can feel how it is the worst.
